Is my tortoise having nightmares?

Hi everyone,

Lately I've been noticing that my Russian is appearing to have "nightmares" sometimes. She'll be falling asleep, and will suddenly make a hissing sound and rub her front leg against her head (she might do this repeatedly). Then, when I gently tap her, she snaps out of it and is completely fine. I'm just a little worried but more curious - is this normal behavior? Should I take her to the vet? (Or is she really just dreaming )
