Is my tortoise too large for his age?

You can't really feed to much unless it's all the wrong/bad foods and he is in too small of an enclosure to properly exercise.
They should have food available all day so they can graze, roam, sleep, graze, repeat.

Thank you! That is what he does and he is very active. I just got concerned because a saw a post saying 4inches for a 15 month was too large and mine is even larger and younger.

I feed once a day and he gets a mix of greens (such as escarole, endive, dandelion greens, kale, collard and mustard greens) radicchio and Mazuri.

Hermanns tort hatch date is 09/20/21. I just measured him and his shell is 5 inches. Am I feeding him too much?
I agree with Barb. You cannot over feed the correct foods when housed in an adequate enclosure. A good growth rate is a sign of health.
