Maybe you should return the tort, for its sake, if you don't have the money to take care of it properly. You can find somethings on Amazon for cheaper, but the heat bulbs cost at least $15, at least $15 for the dome to put the light in, UVB linear bulbs and hoods cost upwards of $50, and that's just for the lighting. Maybe your parents can lone you the money since they allowed you to buy an exotic pet to keep at their house. Not to mention, who's going to take care of it when you go away to college in a couple years? That's who I got mine from...a young girl who bought her sully when she was in high school and would be an easy pet, but couldn't care for it when she left for school. You're too young to take on the huge responsibility of a pet that needs very specific care. I'm not trying to be mean or hateful, but I hope you can work something out.
