Hi guys, so I got my new tort about a week ago, and he's been in a concrete mixing tub. The temps are perfect, but I'm worried about the humidity. I can't get it to stay above 60 for more than an hour at a time.

So here's my question. Should I keep him in there so he has more space? Or should I move him to a smaller enclosure where I can keep the humidity closer to 80?

Of course, if any of you have any tips on upping the humidity please let me know!

I should state, he has a humid hide that he does sleep in every night, a water dish that he will go into, and he gets soaked daily for ~30min. That has become his regular potty time. lol

Thanks!

Leave him in the enclosure you have him in. Cover 1/2 to 3/4 of it. That should help with humidity. If not, pipe in a humidifier.

Looks like I'll have to do a humidifier. I do have ~2/3 of it covered. Thanks Wellington! I'll look into a humidifier. :)
