I have a baby tort. He is three inches big and I just noticed that on the bottom of his shell, on one side, there are two little lumps. They are hard like his shell and he's acting normal I just want to make sure he's going to be okay and this isn't a problem. Below are pics of his bottom shell. Advice would help a lot.

I'm sorry, Sami...but I don't see what you're referring to.

I don't know maybe I'm jut seeing things bit earlier when I had him in the sun i felt lumps under him. Maybe it nothing. I mean if you can't see it maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I don't really see much concern myself...sometimes the younger Sulcatas don't have complete flat shells. It sounds like he's eating fine and there isn't any other underlining issues, so it is most likely normal and the shape of the plastron.

Okay. Thanks. I was just worried. I mean he's not even a year old yet.

Looks normal to me too. They often have "rougher" areas and "uneven-ness" on the plastron. Totally normal. Just look out for any soft spots or spots that look infected. You are not likely to see either of these, but those would be the only plastron concerns likely to ever pop up.
