Kids running through for some scale. This was a couple of weeks ago. Now the tallest plants are over 4ft.

It pops up naturally around here. We've had a lot of rain lately and had a large crop last year. I don't cut down the plants so the ones from the prior season matured and dropped a ton of seeds.

Wow wow Wubzy. I have mallow envy now. Mine is nowhere near that size. Most of it is still just a couple inches tall. That is how big mine will get at the height of the season.

Mallow grows REALLY well in rocky areas. Although I don't like having all the rocks where the tortoises are, it does help with the tortoise food bill for a good chunk of the year.

We're moving out of this home soon so I had one of my local tortoise buddies come by and take about 80% of what was in the pictures above, now I only have the largest plants which I'll need for my tortoises. I'll try to get as much seed as I can and share the wealth.

Both my Leopards And Burmese favorite! Soaked Masuri is the only thing that is more popular. No matter what other plant matter I put in the mix it seems like the mallow is the first to go. It must account for bout 50% of their diet? I hope that is not a problem?
