Is this normal?

OK been doing some reading but can't find straight answer.So my EBT will eat like a pig then she drinks and soaks for a hour poops like crazy.Then she burrows and sleeps for almost two days to repeat it all again.Is this normal ?

I think it's a retained wild memory of times when food was scarce. As long as the turtle eats, poops, has bright, shiney eyes, I'd say it's all good.

OK Thank you for your response.Peez is the one I rescued with bad injury's and time and vet care I have her back to health.But I do not really know if her first owners got her wild or captive bred.One thing I can say is she has gotten spoiled or lazy .I hand feed her for 3months when she was in bad health.Now she still thinks she deserves her meals served .lol
