Thanks very much for your story sharing. Now I really know how important tortoise is for you. ^_^movealongmosey said:When I was going through some tough times, I turned to native american rituals. (I know this sounds weird, but it'll all make sense lol) In Native American tribes animals were sacred, and almost like their own deities (one of the reasons for totempoles). They believed in spiritual guides, basically an animal that would guide them through life. And after meditation I had become to believe that the tortoise was my spiritual guide. I have always loved turtles but after this realization I became turtle crazy haha. I found balance in drawing and painting turtles, and so one day I decided to buy one. And I cherish him so much and couldn't be more balanced and happy.
Hopefully it makes sense
