Sri lankans have way more yellow. I agree largets Indian the rest Sri lankan

I got these questions:
If we go to Sri Lanka, is it possible that we come across a star tortoise that look like the large one (with thin line ) in the pic above?
Do all star tortoise in sri lanka have thick line like the second larger one in the pic?
I think there must be some that look like in between, even when they grow up. How do we call them?

It can be hard sometimes to tell the difference, as there is no difference geneticly. If they do have thinner lines it's usually many more lines than the mainland Stars. It is sometimes different for males and females with the Sri Lankans. With males having rays that don't usually bifurcate.

All 3 do look Sri Lankan. :D

The first one does look Sri Lankan, especially if it's male.
The second one is a mainland Star. You can only fix the new growth, so it's never going to look quite right. With a good diet it should be just fine. :D
