I just got a juicer and was wondering if it would be okay to feed my tortoise the pulp. Im assuming it would be, any opinions?
Thanks:)

I do t see why not. But isn't all the good stuff extracted, leaving the pulp more like a filler? I'm. It a juicer, so asking:D

It has some nutrients still in the pulp not as much as the juice though. Its mainly just fiber left over. But it gets her to eat the types of foods she doesn't like if I mix it in. Lol

That sounds like a good idea. I used to have a juicer years ago. I hated all the waist of the pulp and how much you had too use to get just a little juice. I didn't have a tortoise then. Would have been a better use for the pulp then just throwing it away:(

You can also make muffins out of the pulp. I haven't tried that yet though! :D

The only things I usually don't give her is the ones with tomato or citrus in it. If I feed it to get cut up I let her have the pulp to on occasion.
