Hi guys,how can you say if the tortoise is in hatchling,yearling,juvenile,sub adult or adult stage? what is the scientific basis if any? thanks!

Hatchling is from birth to one year.

Yearling is 1-2 years.

Juvenile us several years away from being an adult.

Subadult is almost of breeding size/age (within a year or two.)

Adult is of breeding age/size.

Anyway, that is how I see it
