Keep It Simple Stupid. Something my Spanish teacher used to tell me all the time. And I did, I did keep it simple. In fact, I cheated. I regret nothing!(a lil i wish i could speak Spanish)Anyway. I brought the hatchling turtles outside for the year. I want to put the sliders in Something bigger but this works for now. I simply took a steralite drawer apart, cut a hole in each lid, and put hardwear cloth over it. All I do is overflow it every other day and keep an aquatic plant for some sort of filtration. As for my hatchling box turtles, i keep them in a few inches of fresh water and change it. Usually they'd be in a more terrestrial set-up like my two year old, but they were the runts of the clutches.I wasn't going to share this, but most people stress about how to safely keep their hatchlings outside. Maybe this can be inspiration to do something ecen cooler. Just keep it simple stupid.

Did you purposely make the water dirty so they feel a little more safe and...invisible???
