Im watching a programme called katie - my beautifull face, and her possesed ex bf got his mate to throw acid in her face (she was a very pretty model) and still is very pretty she could look worst! But her face is now melted..took her under a year to talk and eat again..

anyone else know about this?

Yes...I have been watching this too. It has been on every night this week on Entertainment Tonight...Very, very sad.

I just can't watch it. My granddaughter's name is Katie (therefore: kates' "goey") so I was initially drawn but having come many years ago from an abusive relationship, I just can't watch it or her struggle to overcome the many layers of scars - both emotional and physical. She is very brave, but even after a year, I'm pretty sure there are scars she has not even begun to heal internally.
