komodo dandelion pellets

i have recently purchased the komodo tortoise pellets for my 5 year old horseield tortoise Elliot he seems to love them but i have herd from various websites that they are bad for tortoises. It is the only food he seems interested in, i give i pellets as well as fresh food. But he always seems more interested in the pellets.

Do i need to stop feeding him them all together?

I have heard quite a bit that people in the UK use the Komodo food for their tortoises. I've heard it from folks who are very experienced in tortoise-keeping.

I would say it's ok. You should also include fresh food too though.
