Their shells look exactly like sulcatas except for the scute dots. It's funny to looking at their faces...if I look at them one way I see a sulcata. If I look at them another way they look like a leopard. Kinda like my daughter, some people say she looks like me, others say she looks like my wife.

Keep posting the progress of these guys. I'm not a fan of hybridizing, but it's interesting none the less.

How old are they? How close in age to Millie? Thanks for posting. Beautiful.

Robert , the leppers were born in Dec of last year and Millie the leo about a year+ before that . They are growing much faster than your standard leo hatchlings....and just about caught up to Millie who is much older.

That's exactly why I asked. Wow! These pics also give a good comparison to show just how "round" Millie is.

Neal ... I completely agree. The dots are cool .. and have seemed to remain even up to this point about a year later , and yes the heads are more Leo looking than most sullies along with leg structure, very out going like most sullies ....They do show what I seem to be common of Leo's the slight pyramiding ...even though these two are misted and keep humid several times a day from week 3 . I just find that leos up around 2 years start to show these same kind of featues, although , in the case of the lil snow leo I have , she is extra smooth thus far. They eat like wildfire and have gained alot of weight and size overall in the last 2 months, soon to over pass Millie the leo ~

They look great!! I love watching them grow and seeing how they will turn out, so thanks for the updates :)
It's very interesting that you care for them essentially the same way as Millie, and they are pyramiding a tiny bit...I wonder why!
Love the rhyming names :D

I really enjoy it when you do these updates. These guys are just so fascinating to watch grow up, change, and develop. They just are a bit different enough to catch your eye and your mind. I agree with whomever it was, that said if you look at them from one angle you see sulcata, move just a bit and it's a Leopard look. Thank you so very much for all the pictures you post! :tort:
