Leopard gender?

Hi guys, can you tell me my leopard tortoise gender? size is exactly 8” long now.

My guess would be female.
Males have a concave plastron to aid mating and a longer tail.
The plastron of your tort looks quite flat and the tail quite short.
I could be wrong though.

I have a male and that doesn't look like his tail. My guess Female

Lyn; FYI - This diagram shows up from time to time on this question. It is worth noting that it was created for Testudo tortoises and can be helpful for them. It is not applicable to other genus.

Thanks for sharing.
Mark has since told me that the diagram I posted is for Testudo (Mediterranean) torts and not all torts in general, so it's not really useful for you - sorry.
