Males have a concave plastron to aid mating and a longer tail.
The plastron of your tort looks quite flat and the tail quite short.
I could be wrong though.

Mark has since told me that the diagram I posted is for Testudo (Mediterranean) torts and not all torts in general, so it's not really useful for you - sorry.Thanks for sharing.
