Leopard substrate

Will coconut fiber and cypress mulch work as a good substrate for a leopard hatchling?

Either one will work. No need and no reason to mix them.

I think orchid bark works better than both of those, but all three are adequate.

I use coir topped with coco husk in some area and moss in others. Hatchlings don't make as much mess with the coir as larger torts do, and it makes it really easy to maintain high humidity.

Where did you get your leopard tortoises from?
If this was meant for me, several different places. My 1st i don't remember, the second i don't recommend, my last is a rescue from a pet store, but the trio in the picture, i got fro Neal, a member here.

Thank you. I will never buy anywhere except for direct from the breeder again. My little guy is sure cute though.
In the second pic you can see he is starting to get growth line.
