Leopard tort update

Hi guys

Just thought I would give an update on the pardalis.

She is still not eating herself yet, but I am please to say she is getting stronger everyday,
Her weight has gone from 190 grams upto 250 grams,

She is a fighter and we are not giving up yet.

She is now mine to keep which is good news, the breeder thinks she passed on with crypto.

Will keep you all updated.

Good news! Question tho, are you saying you lead the breeder to think she is dead, so you could keep her?

I think she ment it was passed to HER with crypto... not passed away from crypto.

...at least that is the way I understood it...

No I meant the breeder thinks she has passed on, I know its wrong but, it's not the sort of breeder you might think, it's a breeding farm basically. All land torts are together and left to breed, they don't give a stuff about their health.

If I had sent her back she would be DEAD now. They breed fish and reptiles, I don't like ordering reptiles off them as they always come with something wrong with them, especially the iguanas.
They come with thermal burns, parasites, you name it and they have had it.

It's just a customer wanted a leopard and my usual reptile rep didnt have any, so I had to order from these guys, when she came I'll we got another in,

Same thing not eating but I managed to get him through it after a week..

So in a way I have rescued her....
