Congrats on your new addition ~

As for growing tortoise food, I recently got some seeds from the Carolina pet supply, and am gonna give that a go. For store bought, anything that is dark green should be good, torn into manageable bites; collard greens, mustard greens, romaine lettuce, radish leaves, parsely, shredded zuccini, or yellow squash, etc. There are several posts here where all kinds of foods are listed... http://tortoiseforum.org/showthread.php?action=newpost&tid=2706 has alot listed, thanx to some very wise peeps here..

Dont forget to send the pics ~

is that a ramp for your tortoise to walk up and get sun? does he/she ever fall off the side? that would be a concern of mine. baby tortoises always find a way to flip themselves, and providing a ramp with a drop would seem unsafe....just my opinion..

OMGosh, he is adorable! lol, made me giggle to myself.

And good point, Spike; I had one baby that would flip himself over at the slightest incline.

Hopefully the foods listed on the above link will be helpful for ya ~

He/she is great looking. I also would be concerned about the ramp. But nice digs.

You could also try planting the seeds in multiple pots so you always have some to provide.
