Great that is good to know. I am using the T5Ho bulbs right now so I already have the light fixtures so I will replace the T5bulbs with the Arcadia. Thanks!!

I've read about these Arcadia lights recently on the forum. I've never seen them, what's the difference with Arcadia? I've always used MVB's. I need to buy new lights too, should I switch? I'm curious on more info on these. I also get confused with all this different types of lighting?!

I like them and use them in all of my enclosures . They don't put out heat so I use 40 watt lamps for day heat and che' s on a thermostat for night heat .

Thanks Mike! That is what I do using the T5HO bulbs from Zoomed and it is so much cheaper than replacing the Powersun & less watts used on the electric bill. I purchase a light from Home Depot for my heat lamp for maybe $10.00 I am going to give the Arcadia bulbs a try since they seem to be highly recommended. I do not like Powersun bulbs I think they are junk. I have had to send back a few bulbs that didn't last long :(

I am thinking I may replace my tubes with Arcadia brand next year. I like the fact that they have a higher UVB output because they have to be at least 15 inches above my critters in my current set up. I am glad to know they fit in the T5 HO fixture. do they fit in the T10 HO fixture?

T5 is the bulb size i've never seen a T10 but if it's the bulb size to no it wouldn't T5 lights are skinnier then normal lights

Any of these products can work. It just depends on your individual enclosure and what you are trying to accomplish. In the past I used a lot of MVBs and they all worked great for me. No problems. When I switched to all closed chambers I realized the MVBs run too hot for me, so I switched to low wattage basking bulbs for a little bit of heat and the florescent tubes for light and UV. I've been using the Arcadia 12% HO bulbs for a few months now and they work great. Just ordered a few more in fact.

Todd at Lightyourreptiles.com is great to deal with. He knows his products.
