Hey I had just got a new cage for my leopard tortoise and the humidity I getting high. The lights are hanging inside my cage. Is there a possibility that the high humidity could affect the bulbs.

I regularly run 85-90% humidity in my enclosure and I've never had an issue with it affecting my lamp. I use a MVB in a ceramic socket. I would figure the humidity is significantly be lower at the light.

Toms lights are all inside his closed chambers also. They have to be in order to make it a closed chamber. Otherwise it's more of a semi-closed chamber:D
