My old lily pond:

After the turtle resident escaped and I couldn't find her for over a month in 100F degree weather, I started a few lilies in her pond. They were just starting to do good when I decided to allow my big pond to evaporate and find new homes for those turtles. Yesterday Dana and Amanda and their nephew, Darin, came up from SoCal and took care of pumping out the pond and gathering the fish and turtles. . . only problem being, there were NO fish in there. I swear, I saw hundreds of mosquito fish in there just a few days ago, plus there were four very large gold fish too. We were planning to move the lily pond over to the side of the greenhouse and put all the fish in there. Well, the lily pond was moved just fine, but no fish!
The pond's new location (a work in progress, as Amazon doesn't want to ship water plants on hot days):
