As for your question, I believe it really depends if she was captive bred or wild caught.
Most tortoises that are shipped to the larger pet stores are normally wild caught so she could've been from anywhere.

However, I did a quick Wikipedia search on "Russian Tortoise" and found this...
"The Russian tortoise ranges from Afghanistan to north-western China, through the countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Pakistan."

So, perhaps she was caught in one of those countries?

I'm sure another member will come along and be able to offer more information.

woow thanks a lot !! i didn't know that they could be found in so many places !! that's amazing they are really well distributed !! i really think mine was wild caught because i got her from petco
