He's looking less like a hatchling all the time!

I changed his substrate and added/rearranged his furnishings today. It was looking pretty bare for a while since I took things out to put in his outdoor enclosure.

His new tunnel (I still keep it hatchling-proof since I'm paranoid )

His favorite hide. I wanted to take out the plastic hides to make it look more natural, but he loves this red hide.

Looks great and you're right, he doesn't look like a hatchling anymore. I like his enclosure. How do you like the topsoil substrate?

I used to use coco coir/top soil but I think he likes plain topsoil the best. He had topsoil in his outdoor enclosure and loved to dig and bury in it, which he never did inside.
So this time I'm trying just plain topsoil inside. He already dug down a little bit today so I think he likes it

eta: It does get a little messy if it's too wet though, and it sticks to his claws. But I don't keep it extremely damp so it's not really a problem.

Awww what a beautiful little man you have there Nelson is adorable and you are so right, he is looking less and less like a baby. His enclosure is amazing, I love it! I just love the idea of the hide, where did you get that? I want one for Hermy, I am sure he would love it !!!

I got the plastic hides from the dollar store (Dollar Tree to be exact.)
If you would really like one I can try to find one and mail it to you.

I will go to Walmart and to the Dollarstore to see if they have any. My hubby thinks he has already seen them at walmart near my house

Ohhhhh Nelson how I love to see pictures of him. I don't know the last time I saw such a clean enclosure. I actually thought that Nelson was the one on top of that yellow hide, but then I looked at the next picture and found out that he has an impostor living in his enclosure with him.
