I'm currently searching for either a Hermann's or Russian tortoise in or around Lexington KY or Central Kentucky. I had plans for a red-foot tortoise for my partner, however, it fell through and we were scammed out of $300.

If out of state, I am more than happy to cover shipping costs. Currently, we have a temporary tub set up, but will be finishing our tortoise table as soon as our back-ordered materials arrive. I also have plans to purchase an outdoor pen for days that are nice for the tortoise to enjoy the sun (supervised of course.). Otherwise, we are set up and ready to go for a tort.

I think you saw this post already: https://tortoiseforum.org/threads/5...e-just-need-to-provide-a-good-habitat.214809/ by @kate :)

I mean there is one on CL right now that needs a home:

I can't tell if these are true adoptions, but the price suggests someone just trying to rehome it, but could be worth asking.... I also see this one but could be a breeder vs a rehome:

I just realized its been awhile since I updated this post 😅 Since a couple users have messaged me, I just wanted to let everyone know that I now am the owner of a Russian tortoise 🥳 I appreciate the resources shared greatly! Here is a picture of my boy Frodo 🩷

(Regarding his salad, yes there are strawberries and watermelon, however he does not get either every day. It's been ridiculously hot here and I wanted to give him a treat to help hydrate him more. 😊)
