My humidity stays 75-90%. Thats the enclosure its a work in progress. Im converting a trixie rabbit hutch. Thanks to you all for the condolences.I'm so sorry you lost the little one. From your picture, I'm going to guess that you were keeping the baby too dry. They should live in swamp-like conditions when they're that small. Because their little bodies are so tiny, the lights/heat dry their insides out very quickly.
This might be the wrong time of year to try to find another baby box turtle. Most of them are brumating now. Try again in the Spring.
Also yes there is a 5 gallon tank in there but its for plants/water cleaners(not chemicals)fish. There is a plexi bottom about 1inch down so i can adjust with size.My humidity stays 75-90%.
