Is it permissible to spray Amdro Quick Kill Outdoor Insect Killer on the ground of our new enclosure and then cover it with topsoil. We won’t be putting the tortoises out there for at least a week. It will dissipate by that time I would imagine. But don’t want torts getting bitten by bugs. Let me know. Hubby is ready to go spray.

I wouldn't use bug killer in a tortoise enclosure, but I'm no expert and in the UK, so I'm not sure. @Tom @YvonneG and others should be along to help out soon.

I wouldn't put any sort of pesticide or toxic chemical in a tortoise enclosure or anywhere near it, and I wouldn't put topsoil in a tortoise enclosure either.

We are building a 25’x25’ enclosure. We live in Central Tx. Wanted to enhance the ground a bit. What would you suggest using if not top soil?

Outdoor sulcata enclosure
Having a fence guy come over in an hour to look at our project. What should I tell him about an escape proof barrier around the perimeter of the enclosure?
Bury wire? How deep?
Concrete in dirt? Please advise.
Thanks
