About what size are you able to tell if your sulcata is a male or female?

I've looked at all the different diagrams and my sulcata has some things that scream male and some things that scream female!

My sulcata is roughly the size of my hand.

It doesn't go by age, but rather by size. Wait until he's about a foot long or more, females a bit bigger.

Well, if I might share my experience....

My sulcata was called Sully for obvious reasons. Around age 28 months it looked very much (to everyone) like it was a developing females.

At 36 months, 15.5", 23#, mild plasternal concavity began to be noticeable and at 39 months it flashed, ending the question conclusively. So, no more Sully (neutral), no more Su (female). Sullivan it is!
