Hello.
I'm sure this topic has been posted before, so please forgive me for reposting.
I'm use to taking care of Sulcata's, but not marginated tortoises. I want to make sure I do everything required to guarantee them a safe hibernation. Can anyone share with me their personal experience on how they accomplished this? I would really appreciate it.
My personal email is [email protected]
Oh, I live in New Jersey; average winter temps 25-35 degrees, I have a garage and an unheated basement. I've heard that keeping them in a climate/oxygen appropriate enironment is best. If so, I have no problem purchasing a "college" type dorm refrig. I appreciate all of your help.
My cell number is: 732-895-1495. (Oh, the marginated tortoises are about 90 days old and there are two of them. They both appear healthy, eating and popping as expected.)
