Hello
Do you observed correlation between sex and shape of anal plates in elongata?
I have elongata cbb in EU in 2009. One specimen is 26cm but i'm not sure if he/she is mature. Plastron is flat, angle between anal scutes is wide and tail is quite short with "wide"/fat/ base. Cloaca do not exceed caudal scute.

What is your opinion

Definitely a female. Anal scutes can e very similar for both male and female indotestudo. Males will have a very long tail with a claw at the tip.

So in this size and age male tale and concave plastron must be well developed.? I have two more specimens with same tail, anal scutes and plastron. One specimen differ from others: tail is short like in horsfieldi and anal scutes agle not so wide open.
So I have 4 females?
