or two or three:D
so i may be getting a leopard, i have lots of experience with russians but this is my first real tortoise.
This guy that has them. he has yearlings and 5-8 months old. not sure which one to go for. he didnt temp sex them so there prices are a bit lower.
The older ones cost more of course. he also has 3-4 month olds but i was reading that they arent as hardy but of course they are cheaper yet.
So which should i get?

I'd go for the older one. You're never assured that babies are going to live.

Babies take a lot of care, I would go for the yearling. You must post pics when you get it :)

I've heard many bad stories about people who weren't experienced in tort care losing babies. I've gone for two juveniles and had no problems at all. My pick is the older ones. Unless you are going to breed them, who cares if it is male or female.

Good luck choosing! :)

Get the older ones. Very well worth the peace of mind. Losing a baby is very easy and very heartbreaking. They tend to be much sturdier by the time they hit a year old.
