While using stumble upon today, I came across this pic of a tort missing a front leg. There was no text with it, just a picture. I thought I would share.

Kind of neat how they added the wheel to help him out but I wonder how well it really works.

Awesome....with that mouth full of food and he looks great I would say the wheel works great...lol...:D however, he must have had to figure out how to work the wheel or he doesn't mind going to the left all the time...:p

I seen this guy on tv about two months or so ago. They had just put that larger wheel on him, as he had out grown his other wheel. I think it was in bad shape too. The wheel swivels, so he actually can get around pretty well. Better on hard surfaces than grass though. I think it's great that someone will find a way for animals to get around instead of putting them down.

Thank you for sharing this, its wonderful to see people trying to do right by their animals even in the face of tragedies such as a lost limb. :tort::)

I wonder what the long term will be for his surviving front leg since it has to work harder then normal.
