He's such a sweet and gentle guy!! This year he had sooo much fun making his burrow his "own". He dug about 4 to 5 feet to the right of his burrow so he has a tunnel! Such a happy guy. Well he loves his burrow soo much he went into hibernation and we all really miss him!!!!

Here he is the last time he was out. He came to visit my dog. It was priceless. Love you Mr. Tilly! XOXO

I know how you feel. All my box turtles are outside hibernating now, except for two babies in the house, and I already miss going out every day and sitting by the garden with a cup of tea watching all their silly antic's.

That would drive me nuts. Don't know how you do it. I would miss them and be paranoid all winter, hoping he was fine and waiting for his appearance in the spring. Here's to a short winter, so you can see them sooner:)

Hmph, just another reason I will never hibernate Carl... thinking about him and doing things for him makes up about.... 40% of my time, what would I do without him!?
