Depends on the lettuce you are feeding.. iceberg.. not good. but if its the spring mix, that is fine. start trying other things mixed in. shredded or cut in different ways.. squash. sometimes color is something they need to be stimulated. yellow squash versus green.
Its alot of trial and error.. or you can withhold the lettuce and not offer it and only other things until he gets hungary enough to try it.

This may work and I suggest it for RFs only. Try putting earthworms in with it's food. All of my RF's are major worm freaks and devour them and anything mixed in with them. Also you may want give overripe fruit a try. How large is your RF?

I've had my red foot for 27 years and he loves spring mix, romaine, banana, oranges, apples from our tree, pumpkin. Just try various different things and be patient.

Redfoots seem to really go for over-ripe fruit. See if you can find papaya and let it sit on the counter for a couple days to ripen. The softer the better.
