Anyone on here with Mount Etna locale Westerns? Would love to see how dark they get and if they really stay under 5” as advertised.

Thanks for sharing @Edwinasten! Very interesting weights/length for their ages. I was told there are several populations surrounding the volcano region, some quite small, others that get larger in size. It seems as though your group will likely stay very small. I hope my group does the same. Do you keep your group outdoors year round? Since they are so dark, I imagine they can warm up easier/faster and tolerate lower temperatures if they have access to direct sunlight.

I am keeping them outside year round, but they have an heated enclosure where they can warm up also during the Day with hibernation coming soon, just heated with a 30 watt halogeen spot which turns of in the evening to cool down during the night.
Will post another picture of a group from a friend of mine who has etna from the same breeder and same import we bought together .

Awesome photos, thanks! I really like that jet black look that’s broken by the yellow. Do you know if the breeder keeps males and females separate? The picture looks as though they are all together. My Greek nabeulensis young males have become quite aggressive towards the female. I’m curious if Mount Etnas can be kept in a group or if the males need to be separated.
