Im currently living in Virginia and planning on moving to Kentucky in a few weeks. Since i have a new baby sulcata will it be okey during the ride back.

Its abuot a 12 hour drive. I also have a bearded Dragon too who made the trip up here just fine.

Is there anything special i need to do or that i shouldn't do during the trip?

I'd put some rags or Tshirts in the box to keep him from sliding about. Otherwise, he'll be fine. Check on him periodically to clean up any pee or poo.

Im sure i could find some sort of power adapter for the heat lamp just hanging it in the car would be the tricky part.

I think I would go with some sort of heating pad over a lamp in the car. OR you could order a 30 hour heat pack and place it under a towel in the box with him. Even those instant heat hand/boot warmers would work fine. They are cheap and you could buy a few and use one at a time as the heat diminishes. You can pick those up at wal-mart in the hunting department.
