Is mulch okay to add to a RT enclosure? I have coco coir, topsoil and sphagnum moss in his enclosure already, but I am trying to make things more interesting. Plus, it's fun having a mixture of different things.
Thanks in advance :)

What kind of mulch?

I find that fine grade orchid bark works best for adult russians.

Thank you!! Did you order it or was it at a local store?
And also.. Good plants to plant in enclosure? I want to grow some seeds and plant a few plants in his enclosure.... He doesn't have any.

You can fine 2.0 cubic foot bags of fine grade O. bark at any garden center for about $6.

My tortoises trample or eat anything smaller than a tree in their enclosure, so I don't have a good answer for you. I grow all my stuff outside the enclosure and feed it to them.

And haha!! I think I'll just stick to growing the RT seed mix and giving him that instead of planting plants... If that's an option
