My mums hermann

Hi I don't own a Hermann I own other types of tortoise but my mum does have one which she's had for about 5 years, during the winter months she lives in my mums house roaming around my problem is she does not use any lighting or heat I keep trying to drop hints that it does still need it but as my mum been doing this for a while she thinks it ok, also her house I think is quite cold. What should I do

The only way to change anything is to tell her. You know your mum better than anyone here, and how to best approach her. You could try directing her to this site and show her that her care-taking methods could use a little improvement.
