If you have a water turtle, then earth worms are an acceptable food, however, water turtles can't swallow their food unless they are under water. If you have a tortoise, such as an Indian star tortoise, then earth worms are not an acceptable part of the diet. Please post a picture of your new animal so we can see what species it is. We will then be able to give you better care information.
