My Russian tortoise substrate.

I plan on changing my RT substrate soon, I don't know what the best substrate would be. Currently I am using a mix of Repti bark and Eco earth. My Russian has no problem with eating his substrate or impaction. He likes to dig and poop. Please vote and leave suggestions.

I prefer coco coir for small ones and orchid bark for older ones.

I don't know why everyone wants to mix different things together when they work just fine by themselves. To each his/her own, I suppose...
