My Russian tortoise substrate.

I plan on changing my RT substrate soon, I don't know what the best substrate would be. Currently I am using a mix of Repti bark and Eco earth. My Russian has no problem with eating his substrate or impaction. He likes to dig and poop. Please vote and leave suggestions.

Go to a hardware store or nursery and buy organic peat moss and/or cypress mulch. Skip the more expensive coir and reptibark. A lot of members use the substrates mentioned and it's they are much cheaper
