This is my sulcata i got in february! I haven’t named it yet, so feel free to give any suggestions! I was visiting a reptile shop nearby for the first time and saw that they had this little baby sitting there but his enclosure wasn’t really the best and he already had some pyramiding so I decided to save em.

This is the first day I got em

This is now only a month apart, now with a closed chamber that I keep above 82 F and 88 humidity. The sully has a hide and is soaked daily. It gets taken outside for 15-20 minutes everyday and eats a variety of food like the african grass mix from Tortoise Supply, collard greens, some weeds from the yard when we go out, cactus pads, occasionally some carrots and rose leaves/petals. I also give it calcium supplements

His orchard bark chips are a little chunky here but the bedding is a lot finer

He looks much better now.

Did you attempt to educate the store? If not, they will take the money you gave them and buy another tortoise to put in the same enclosure to sell.

Sorry for the late response, but yes i’ve tried to tell them and they seemed to had listen because I’ve gone back a couple of times to look for somethings and I haven’t seen anymore babies.
