Nails too long?

Hi, my Greek Spur-Thigh is a year now, and I'm thinking his nails may be too long. I have slate as a feeding platform in his enclosure, should I be thinking about adding/doing something else? Thanks

Baby tortoises have naturally long nails. Don't do anything to them. They will wear down on their own as he grows.

Thanks Yvonne. I never realised just how much time I would spend worrying I'm not looking after George right when we brought him into the family!
