2 days ago, I notice a small spot on my sulcata carapace. But today when I go and have a look, it gotten bigger. I'm not sure what is this. Is this shell rot? Or because of hitting on something?

Please help.

So, do I need to do anything about it? Or just let it recover by itself.

It looks like something had scratched the shell. When you have an antibacterial ointment you can put it on the injured spot.
Be careful that flies don`t lay their eggs in the wound when he lives outdoors.

Yeah you might want to put antibiotic ointment on it and cover it. Like Bee62 said with him/her being outside there is a good chance flies will sense the area is compromised and try to lay eggs in it.

We had something like this happen to our Sullys shell. He was out wandering in the garden and decided to try and go under a fence board. Didnt fit, but scraped a bit of shell.

I applied ointment for a few weeks and it healed over.

Wash, keep clean, put ointment on it until nicely covered so no ants, flies, etc take an interest.
