My friend sent me a picture of this tortoise he found. To me it looks like a Russian but cant be sure because of condition.

That's someone's escaped pet so your friend should try to trace the owner.

Diet is leafy greens. No fruit.

Hi Mathew, and welcome to the Forum!

Please tell your friend that if he plans to keep the Russian tortoise (after he's looked for its owner) in that cage that's in the picture, that's WAY TOO SMALL for a Russian tortoise - for any tortoise, really.
