I was told NO protein and no calc/anything but natural greens and fruits until 6 mo. I have stuck by it and my torts are looking great! FYI

That's exactly how I raised mine. Pio is 5 now and she is smooth and beautiful, and Solo is two and is just as healthy, so far. I followed Terry K's care sheets for feeding until mine were outside and grazing.
There are so many new care sheets out there, but this will remain my favorite. Easy to understand, and even has pictures, and especially easy for a new owner.

Yes the head and leg colors are awesome, even their tails and back legs have nice red coloring
