Hello, following on from a discussion in another thread I thought it best to start my own.
I'm looking at a new enclosure for my 18 month old RF. Unfortunately due to current size restrictions I am limited to a 5ft x 3ft but I would like to get peoples opinions on either:
http://provivs.co.uk/150cm-x-60cm-x-90cm--60x24x36-flat-packed-vivarium-5ft-469-p.asp
Pros - Right size, fairly cheap, good company reviews, easy to construct
Cons - it's wooden so will need fully sealing with a silicone sealant and varnish / rubber paint.
Or
http://provivs.co.uk/pro-plast-viva...--60x24x36-flat-packed-plastic-5ft-1352-p.asp
Pros - reported to be great for high humidity and easy to clean, longer lasting
Cons - expensive, struggling to find reviews
Has anyone else had any experience with plastic vivarium of this size? I know they will still need a silicone sealing but do they still need a varnish / rubber paint?
