I'm upset that I didn't find this site before my own stupidity let him down. I hope he will smooth out. I still need to improve his diet and higher humidity. I'm really struggling to find enough variety of weeds but I am growing my own so hopefully I can improve it soon.

I am not sure what you are looking at...unless it is more obvious from another angle. He looks fine to me. They have to grow....it can't be 100% smooth - there are individual plates.

I think it has got a bit better. He did look quite bumpy before.
