Does the new growth look smooth? I have battled with pyramiding and just wanted a second opinion on the new growth. Thanks

Just realised the difference...

I'm upset that I didn't find this site before my own stupidity let him down. I hope he will smooth out. I still need to improve his diet and higher humidity. I'm really struggling to find enough variety of weeds but I am growing my own so hopefully I can improve it soon.

He really is looking good. Very few torts are completely perfect, including Joe. As he grows he will become more smooth looking

I am not sure what you are looking at...unless it is more obvious from another angle. He looks fine to me. They have to grow....it can't be 100% smooth - there are individual plates.

I think it has got a bit better. He did look quite bumpy before.

I have been trying to keep the humidity around 60%. Under the lamp is 32-34 degrees. And I keep it at 25 at night.
