Hi, I was wondering about a few things that I could add to a new tort habitat. For a red foot. First I heard of people tilting their torts habitat towards the heat lamp so that when the habitat is sprayed it will drain down to the heat lamp and evaporate. I also want to know if I should have a basking rock under the heat lamp so my tort can bask. Lastly my little brother wanted to put stairs going up to a second level, but wasn't sure because I don't want it tumbling down. Any Thoughts???

I do the tilt with a closed chamber enclosure. I hit +85% relative humidity with about 2 sprays a day--1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Regrettably, I used particleboard with 2 coats of paint and many coats of spar urethane. Sealed edges with 100% silicone. Still working a top part for it but just some ideas if you are looking to build one.
